Eufaula gives up a 9lb – BDS3 Bass

Hi everyone,

Doug Vahrenberg, one our Lucky Craft regional pro staffers sent me this picture of a Lake Eufaula 9 pounder.  Holding that beauty is Mike Cochran, who is a quality engineer and field test coordinator for Humminbird.  Mike caught it on a Lucky Craft BDS 3 in Chartreuse Black.

We will forward this post to Mike and maybe he can give us a few more details about how he caught it in the comments below!

    Mike told me: “I have caught a few like this but the story of my life they all came off at the side of the boat, so I was really particular with this one. I pulled up the trolling motor, let up the big motor and had the net. I hit her twice with the net before I got her in it. I caught her and a three+ off the same rock on the LuckyCraft BDS3. My favorite fish catching color is Chartreuse Black (064).” Mike said he found the rock with the aid of his Humminbird Side Imaging Sonar. Bet he don’t give up those waypoints. Oh I got Mike a bigger net on the way so he can share more pictures of those big fish from Lake Eufaula.
