Immediately prior to heading to Louisiana’s Red River; where he claimed the 2009 Bassmaster Classic Championship, Skeet Reese and Lucky Craft debuted a series of new Reese designed colors.  Now, as Reese begins final preparation for the defense of his Classic victory, he and Lucky Craft once again release new Reese designed colors that will be released in the Skeet Reese Inc. booth, number 2108 at the Bassmaster Classic Exposition in Birmingham.

Unlike the previous colors, which were three graduated variations of white and chartreuse, the new colors are based on two of the most popular forages in the bass diet; bluegill and crawdads.  Each one of the new shades are personally designed by Reese, down to the finest details.
The new sunfish likenesses Baby BG and Ghost Baby BG feature realistic natural bluegill finishes, each with a translucent chartreuse tail which closely matches the splash of color at the tips of the tail.  Baby BG is an opaque color with a hint of the Aurora basecoat that Lucky Craft made popular, while Ghost Baby BG is a duplicate, but in a translucent version.

Magic Craw is a translucent crawdad pattern crankbait in brown and orange tones, perfect for mimicking crawdads around the country.  Magic Craw starts with a dark brown at the back, fades to a translucent light brown, and ends with an orange belly.  Magic Craw comes in two renditions, one with red flake, and a separate one with green flake.

Both new colors will be available in several of Lucky Craft’s most popular lures; LV500, Fat CB BDS 2, 3 & 4, Flat CB D20 and Reese’s new SKT MR and DR.  The baits will be available in limited quantities exclusively at the Skeet Reese Inc. booth; they will retail for $16.99 retail.   Anybody who buys three or more of the new baits will receive a replica black and yellow Skeet Reese / Mercury hat or visor, a $19.99 value.
